InthescorchingsummerdaysofLosAngeles,askatingguitarist,ayoungmanpassionateaboutstreetgraffiti,twofriendschasingtheirdreamsofbecomingrapartists,ayoungmanangryathisfastfoodjob,andaluxurycardriver,theirlivesintertwinetocreateapoeticstoryofsummer.Theskatingguitarist,namedJack,alwaysglidesunderthesun,bringingjoyfulmusictopeoplewithhisguitar.HismusicaltalentdeeplyattractsayoungmanpassionateaboutstreetgraffitinamedAmy.Amyalwaysaddsatouchofcolortothecitywithhergraffitiartinthecornersofthecity.Theirtalentsandpassionsblendtogether,becomingasourceofinspirationforeachother.Atthesametime,twofriends,MikeandKevin,chasingtheirdreamsofbecomingrapartists,arealsostrugglinginthiscity.Theyperformonthestreetseveryday,attractingtheattentionofpassersbywiththeirmusicaltalents.Theyhopetochangetheirdestinythroughmusicandbecomethenextrapsuperstars.Theireffortsandpersistenceinspirethosearoundthem,makingthembelievethatmusiccanchangeeverything.However,thiscityisnotalwaysfilledwithsunshineandhope.Emily,ayoungwomanworkinginafastfoodrestaurant,feelsangryandhelplessaboutherlife.Shefacesthebusynessandpressureofthefastfoodrestauranteveryday,butcannotfindhertruevalueandmeaning.However,bychance,shemeetsJackandAmy,andtheirpoeticandmusicalspiritswarmherheart,givingherthecouragetofindmeaninginlifeagain.Lastly,thereisaluxurycardrivernamedAlex.Heshuttlesthroughthestreetsandalleysofthiscityeveryday,witnessingvariouslifestories.Hiscarisfilledwiththestoriesofdifferentpeople,theirlaughter,tears,homesickness,andfear.Alexlistenstotheirstoriesanddrivesthemtowheretheywanttogowithhispoeticdriving.Thelivesofthese25youngpeopleintertwine,andtheyexpressthejoysandsorrowsoflife,thesweetnessandpainoflove,thewarmthofhomesickness,andthehelplessnessoffearthroughpoetry.Theycreateapoeticstoryofsummerwiththeirtalentsandpassions,makingpeoplebelievethatnomatterhowdifficultlifeis,musicandpoetrycanbringendlessstrengthandhope.

形式很奇妙，詩歌 音樂 rap 自從入坑音樂劇之后就很喜歡以旋律/節(jié)奏/韻腳撐起情感的表達形式
劇情設定在LA，表達的內(nèi)容也很LA。是熟悉的自由、表達、love is love、平等、body shame的一套value。主角團坐在豪車上看星星的時候夢回坐在碼頭和朋友們喝酒。
支線很多，也沒有絕對的主角，體驗非常不錯。
但隱隱地有一點覺得，“啊這真的很LA”啊。這些想要展現(xiàn)的主題在可以成功引起共情之余給了我輕微的空間錯位感。相應地，我所接觸到的中國本土的關于feminism 少數(shù)群體 何謂自由的討論對我來說就沒有完全的本土化。這些value在這片土地上面臨的問題，也和LA并不完全一致。
