最道貌岸然的就是這個(gè)大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)，看著一副正義凜然的樣子，其實(shí)仔細(xì)看看為了他自己什么規(guī)則都破壞過，權(quán)力欲，控制欲，報(bào)復(fù)欲望還都特別的強(qiáng)。看看大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)平時(shí)透露的態(tài)度，好像整個(gè)芝加哥消防局除了51大隊(duì)都是廢物，而且明明對(duì)凱利他爹很反感，也知道凱利和他爹關(guān)系不好，但是凱利一提出找他爹來解決和新局長(zhǎng)的矛盾，馬上表現(xiàn)得特別積極，還緊追凱利著不放。
關(guān)系最好的是大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)和凱西，凱西升隊(duì)長(zhǎng)后苦惱和凱利的關(guān)系，大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)根本沒有從兩個(gè)人的專業(yè)角度分析，其實(shí)中心意思就一句話凱西級(jí)別高不用搭理凱利。當(dāng)凱西工作失誤搞死一個(gè)警察以后，大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)表態(tài)多堅(jiān)決：“除非踩著他的尸體才能動(dòng)凱西”。而凱西老丈人住院只去看過一次他老婆，卻陪著大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)喝酒緬懷一個(gè)他不認(rèn)識(shí)的歌手，一聽說局長(zhǎng)位置空缺以后，凱西最積極，大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)也給個(gè)臺(tái)階就上，大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)相當(dāng)局長(zhǎng)這是越多少級(jí)，其實(shí)本來新局長(zhǎng)也說要把區(qū)副局長(zhǎng)給他，而且凱西出的問題也是被新局長(zhǎng)救的，可以想象他們這是有多來不及，也多沒有人情，后面新局長(zhǎng)黑化完全就是為了應(yīng)付劇情需要而已，不然大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)就得黑化，想想一開始凱利把新局長(zhǎng)說的多好。
前四季覺得凱利情商挺高的，后面越來越差，就是給大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)當(dāng)槍使，因?yàn)樽晕覙I(yè)務(wù)能力強(qiáng)所以大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)還哄著他而已，真正的好處一點(diǎn)沒有，好像第三季就透露過有升隊(duì)長(zhǎng)的資格，這都第七季了還是副隊(duì)，凱利出事大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)除了嘴上哄哄之外基本公事公辦，被人誣陷放火時(shí)也一句話不說，對(duì)比一下凱西搞死警察的態(tài)度顯而易見，而凱利幫大隊(duì)長(zhǎng)卻是要求他親爹去搞他干爹。
